Hi there! Today I have a cute card that I made for the exploring cricut blog challenge! We had to use at least 2 cricut cuts relating to summer...of course I had to incorporate an ice pop because we go through them like water in the summer and I had to incorporate a girl bear in a bikini because thats about all my daughter wears in the summer!
I used the Teddy Bear parade cartridge:
Bear, bikini &flower: 3.5 inches
Simply Charmed cartridge: sun 2 inches & Ice pop 1.25 inches.
All papers were from my scraps.
The sentiment is from a Cardztv set called Beary Sweet!
Oh and I almost forgot to add that the bear is on an action wobble...just can't get enough of them lately! They are so fun!
I know my daughter will just love this cute little card! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Mother's Day!
I hope you all have a beautiful day! I have been cleaning up a bit here and cooking. We are having family over for a BBQ later and my husband is working!
This morning I woke to big hugs and handmade cards (the best kind)! My kids got me the Teddy Bear Parade cricut cartridge and a Beary Sweet stamp set from Cardztv stamps! I really really wanted them, so cute! They are saving their other gifts for me until my husband comes home from work, which is good because I ALWAYS cry! Lol!
Here is the Mother's Day cake that my 9 year old daughter made for me all by herself (other than taking it out of the oven)! She mixed her own colors for the icing and I think it is just beautiful!!
I am so proud of her for wanting to do it by herself...she said she now understands what I go through to make a cake! She was exhausted when she was done and said it was a lot of work! I am so proud of her!
Hope you all have a beautiful day!
Hugs, jeannine

Happy Mothers Day!
Good morning! I want to share the Mother's Day cards that I made for my Mom, Gram, MIL and SIL! I had so much fun creating these. I stamped on watercolor paper using a CTMH rose stamp and then I colored them in using shimmer mists and a paint brush. I added some glitter to one flower to make it stand out! Then just trimmed the papers and added some mats and used a border punch for the bottom. I stamped Happy Mother's Day inside an then created my own envelopes to match. I fussy cut and glittered a yellow rose for the envelope.
I hope you all have a fabulous Mother' Day tomorrow! I will be spending the day with my family and having a BBQ...just a low key day!
Thanks and have a great day!

Thank you notes
Hello! Here are a few quick thank you notes that I whipped up! I honestly can't even remember what papers or cricut cartridge I used...I made them a few weeks ago and just never kept track. Sorry! But I even made my own envelopes using the envelope punch board and I absolutely love it! That's it for today!

NSD challenge layouts
Here are a couple more layouts that I got done for the NSD BPS challenges!
For the first layout...we had to create a summer bucket list. Let me just tell you how fun this was! I used the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge and cut the pail at 10 inches, the beach ball at 3 inches and then used the alpha cartridge on the E2 for the letters cut at 1.5 inches. I hand cut the paper strips with all of the fun things we want to do this summer...the kids will keep us plenty busy and will have fun checking off all that we did!
For the second layout, I used a sketch from the challenge, basically kept it the same with some minor alterations. I used the Me & My Big Ideas activity Pad with die cuts. It made it all come together so fast.
I wish I could have participated more but am glad I chose these two challenges to complete! Thanks BPS for a great day full of ideas and inspiration!!

Simple Stories
Good morning! Well, NSD (National Scrapbooking Day) has come and gone! I had so many other things going on that I didn't have as much time to participate in all the challenges as I would have liked! But that's ok, I did get a few things done!
Here is a layout that I made for a sketch challenge at scrapbook.com! I pretty much followed the sketch. I used papers and cards from Simple Stories and the layout came together so quick!
I have a few more projects to share later. So stay tuned.....

Mother's Day Gift Box
Hello & Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!! Yay! There are a lot of sites that are celebrating today with some challenges and fantastic prizes. I will be entering a few challenges at scrapbook.com and Big Picture Scrapbooking (BPS)! I hope you all are crafting away!
Here is a project I made for a challenge at Cardztv...we had to make something for Mother's Day, well easy peasy! I grabbed my Martha Stewart score board and made a 4x4x2 inch box with some AC papers. I used 3 birds on Parade cricut cartridge and cut the bird holding a flower bouquet at 3.5 inches and used pop dots to adhere it to the top of the box. I used some blue twine and a stamp I had in my stash! Voila...instant gift giving!!
I think it turned out super sweet!

Mickey & Minnie
Here is an adorable set of Mickey & Minnie thank you cards!
I used the Mickey Font cricut cartridge for the faces and the letters. Mickey & Minnie are even on action wobbles, which just make them even cuter! I am glad I made 2 of each card because I just don't want to give them away...LOL!!
I think I will even enter the Minnie mouse card in the challenge over at paperplaytime.blogspot.com as my second entry because I used my cuttlebug and polka dots folder for the background!
Mickey Font cricut cartridge: both faces cut at 3.75 inches & letters cut at .75 inches
Action wobble, polka dot cuttlebug folder, ATG, cardstock
Both cards are A2 (41/4x51/2)

Tinker Bell
Good morning! Today I have a Tinker Bell thank you card to share. I had so much fun making this card for my Aunt who loves tink. I started with a white 5x7 card base. I used the cuttlebug for the pink mat and a 5x7 polka dot folder. I used Tinker Bell & Friends cricut cartridge and cut on pg. 33 at 4.25 inches. Most of the cuts were crisp however the facial features were too tiny so I had to cut my own eyes and draw on lips. I heat embossed the thank you sentiment in black and added chunky glitter to tinks wings and pom-poms on her slippers. I added pop dots to tink and a few buttons!
I love how this card turned out! I will use it for a challenge at paperplaytime. blogspot where you had to use dry or wet embossing. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
