Give a little gift!

Here are some sour cream containers I made to hold some m&m's as a little thoughtful gift! They are super simple to make and are a unique shape that makes giving a gift simple and fun! I made them each a different size just to play! I also have been quilling abut with a kit that I've had for years! I quilled the heart to add to the gift tag!

Kitchen Towel Cake

My daughter and I went to a bridal shower and wanted to do something creative....here's what we did! We bought all of her kitchen towels on her registry both chocolate and plaids and then we bought brown ribbon and some red utensils from the $ store just to add a pop of color. The towels are wrapped around a roll of paper towels to give the cake some volume. We added a bottle of dish soap on top with a fan fold dish towel. I think it came out great and was a big hit at the shower!

A Fisherman Card

This is the card that I made for my father for Fathers day! I believe I found it on Pinterest! It was so quick and easy to make and we stuffed some rel lures in the pockets! Dad loved it!

In the Summertime!

Just some fun summer pics to share! We have done carnivals, festivals, pools, beaches, aquarium, water park...definitely a busy summer so far and we still have 5 weeks left!

Sweet Treats

My 8 year old daughter has been keeping me quite busy baking! Here are some sweet treats that we have done.....
We made sombrero cookies (found on Pinterest, of course) for cinqo de mayo at my sons school!
Then we made beautiful cross cookies for my daughters Communion! Thy were super simple and beautiful too!

My daughter received a Paula Deen cookbook from her grandparents and she made them a snickers pie! Now this really was a super simple recipe and the pie was awesome...we will definitely be making that for summer company!
Thanks for peeking and have a great day!!

Mini donuts

Hello! It has been forever since I've posted! I have done a few crafty things, but not much! While I'm not feeling well, I figured I would take the time to post a few things! Enjoy!

My daughter bought herself the mini donut maker machine! While I was very skeptic of how it would really work! They came out fabulous and it was super simple. We made the basic vanilla and chocolate ones! We iced them and dipped in sprinkles! Next on her list is the cupcake maker...well see how that goes! For now we are enjoying these fabulous mini donuts!!
