2 More finished layouts!!
This is my layout for the 3rd second chance challenge at treasuredscrapbooking.com
For this challenge we had to use ric rac (stem of flower), paint ( I used a mask technique with stickers and spray paint), at least one flower handmade ( I rippe circles and inked and tucked in the edges), and use 1 or 2 photos ( I printed mine on cardstock because I didn't want a glossy effect) and we had to journal using the words "I'd rather..."! So here is what I created...sorry about the bad crop job in the top right corner...I couldn't get a good pic!
This is a lo that I did for 52 sketches...52 weeks, but I didn't post it in time....my Daughter has had an ear infection...well you know how that it...she is attatched at my hip..poor baby!! So, I wanted to keep it simple and just used some cuts from the DC cart and MF for the letters! This is our kitty...more like a mountain lion...lol!!!
( sorry for these bad crop jobs on the images)

Busy...Busy...Busy!!!
Hello all!! I have been busy with a recent crop over at treasuredscrapbooking.com. The crop theme was pirates and the challenges were just amazing...I was able to finish 6 lo's in time and hope to eventually complete the rest!! I also have a few awards to pass on and acknowledge...I have been watching my nieces the past couple of days...ages 4 and 7 months... so I haven't had much time to myself!!
So, here are a few of the lo's that I completed for the crop...

She SWALLOWED her tooth!!
My daughter lost her first tooth and swallowed it while she was eating corn on the cob...she didn't realize until she saw the blood on the corn. She was so excited!!
I created this lo for both 52 sketches and Debbie's "smile" challenge on treasuredscrapbooking.
I used a heidi swapp mask and sprayed it with white paint. I used Tim Holtz' acrylic fragments with pp and rub-ons for part of the title. I also used some journaling stamps and cut them out.

The kids are away...so mom gets to play!!
My kids and my niece are at their grandparents for a long weekend and my hubby is working days and nights....I know..so much free time! Well, I have been catching up on my sleep and scrapbooking! These are 2 new lo's I did last night.
This one is for treasuredscrapbooking for the second chance/challenge #1. Most of the lo was done using the ts kit #2 (that hubby bought me) and a heidi swapp ghost butterfly and bling circle. I painted the thicker letter stickers blue and then used a flourish stamp and stamped them in black. I ripped some nesting circles for the flowers and gathered and stitched some ribbon. The photo and the title are my treasured scrapbooking and blog photo and username. I journaled about how addicting the internet has become for me and how much I love treasuredscrapbooking and their challenges, crops and friendly people.
This lo is also for treasuredscrapbooking...Jenn's "double the fun" challenge. We had to use 2 of the same photos, pp in multiples of 2 and a 2 word title. I color enhanced my photos in photoshop to give them a funky boyish effect. I used 8 pp's including the paper for the title and my 2 word title is "SK8R BOY" I am pleased with how this came out...looks better in person. I did some stitching and used a kid stamp and dimensional clothes for the boy (from me&my big ideas) sooo cute...I think!

Summer Smiles!!
This is the lo that I entered into the treasuredscrapbooking treasured hunt challenge. I didn't make it into the challenge...maybe next year!!! They are, however, offering a second chance contest, where you do the weekly challenges and then enter your work...I will be doing that. I am hoping to get soooo many lo's done!! This lo just didn't want to photograph well...it looks so vibrant and sparkly in person!!

Immitation Crocs!
I can't believe that summer is 1/2 over already...we have had a wonderful "staycation" so far...pool, beach, crafts at the library and bbq's!!!! I am totally addicted to treasuredscrapbookingand all the awesome challenges going on!
I made this late last night, well after the kids had gone to bed...it popped in my head and came together pretty fast!
I took these pictures at one of my husbands fire department drills and I printed them 2x2 and did some stitching. I used this LO for 2 challenges at Treasuredscrapbooking
I really like how this turned out and hope that you do too!!!
Have a great August and stay cool!
