Hi there...cute critters!

Hi!  Here is a cute card that I made for the "Stretch Your Stamps 2" card class.  We were learning about outline stamps and u thought these cute images from Lawn Fawn "critters in the burbs" would be fun.

To stretch my stamps, I decided to stamp them on pattern paper and fussy cut them. I very rarely if ever stamp onto pattern paper so this was fun.  I used Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine and let's Polka papers for all the pieces and stamped on them and fussy cut each one.  When I laid the card out some of the images needed to be stamped and then paper pieced, like the butterfly, dog head and tire, only because the antennae, the rope and the dog hair would be hard to cut out!  I know the card is busy, but I wanted to add colors and critters and some dimension. The cute stitched sun and clouds are from the Spring Showers dies. The grass was cut using the "grass border" die and the speach bubble was stamped and cut using the "chit chat" stamp and dies!
A super cute way to use those cute critter stamps and Lawn Fawn has the cutest ever critters!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great afternoon!

Happy Hello Mini Cards!

Hi there!
The kiddos just had Spring Break and we had a great week! Now it's back to school so I had a little time to craft!
I made these cute mini note cards for this weeks Lawnscaping challenge and I think they turned out super cute!

I used a Nestabilities scallop circle for the card base...the back is white and the front is Lawn Fawn Dots and Stripes 6x6 pad. I used the Lawn Fawn Scripty Hello die and just used some fun bright scraps of card stock...I added wink of stella too! I used Lawn Fawn Science of love stamps and dies to paper piece the "nerdy birds" so fun....I used foam adhesive on them to pop them up and I like how they are sitting on the "e".  I also used the heart die in the set to cut some white hearts that I added liquid glass to for shine!  That's it...super quick, easy and fun to make! I hope you like them!

You + Me = Friendship

Good morning!
I have a cute card to share today...after working on it for days...lol!  I have had a fever and been under the weather, so I just did a little here and there!

I made this card for the Lawnscaping challenge #79: try a new technique!  I have been taking different classes on line and have been playing with lots of different techniques, but when I pulled out (my sons favorite stamp set) my into the Woods Lawn Fawn stamp set I knew I had to try a new technique ...one that I have never tried before. A Pop Up Card!!!
So, I got to work. I stamped the images and colored using Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol and die cut them then added some black gel pen to the eyes and noses.  I ran blue ink on the edges of the cloud and embossed them with the Swiss dots folder.  I used some lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine pattern paper and polka dot paper. I white embossed the sentiment on vellum and adhered over the hand cut green grass.
The pop up was made using a smaller size cardstock where I used TH distress ink to make it look like the bottom was grass and the til was sky (mowed lawn, tumbled glass and faded jeans) I cut a slut in the card to create the pop up and added a log that was stamped and cut and then added some of the animals!  So cute and fun!  I will surprise my son with this card and I know he will just love it. He is 12 and probably my biggest fan! Love that boy!!!
Thanks for stopping by and u would love to know what you think of this card!  Have a great day!!

I only have eyes for you

Hi there!  We had another snow day today and the kids were home!  Good thing too because my daughter was running a slight fever!  We stayed in and rested!
I needed to make my husband a Valentine card and I had this card in progress for a couple days and then I saw a card that Vicky Papaioannou had made on her You tube channel and I just had to make the same card!  I hope she doesn't mind that I copied...I just loved the card!

I started with my Lawn Fawn "Science of Love" stamps and dies.  I paper pieced the birds using a tiny polka dot pattern.  I hand cut the body and the eyeglasses...so fun! I added some liquid glass to their glasses!  I used a SSS "Giving Thanks" stamp set for the branch and just masked off one of the smaller branches.  I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 8 dies to make the card base and the blue layer, then stamped the blue card with Hero Arts polka dot stamp using SSS Sea Glass ink!  I stamped the sentiment using versamark and white heat embossed it!  I used a tiny heart punch for the hearts and added them to the branch as leaves and then up in the left corner to balance out the card!  I die cut two clouds using the "Into The Woods" dies. I added foam squares to the birds and one of the clouds.  I added glitter to the birds bodies, the hearts and the clouds and l added liquid glass to the one heart I between the two birds!
I think this card is super cute and I thank Vicky for the inspiration!  I will be using these Spellbinders dies more for card bases...they are just fun and easy! Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks A Ton

Good morning!
My daughter needed some thank you notes for some friends at school so I made some cute mini notes!  These are 2 1/4 X 3 1/4".  I used a Fiskars punch on the bottom, some washi tape, a Scrappy Moms "Amusing Animals" stamp for the sentiment and  Lawn Fawn "Love You Tons" stamp and die! Oh, I also used a mini heart punch just for fun!
These are super quick and simple...but we're fun to make!
