Cricut Lite Excitement!!

Well, it is late here...just got my daughter to sleep, she is not feeling well and was up with a bad tummy ache. So we were in my bed I love moments like those...not that she is sick, but that we could be up late together just talking!! She finally fell asleep next to me!
I just wanted to jump on and share my excitement!!
Today, I took the kids to visit my Gram...over an hour away and we went to Olive Garden for lunch (our favorite place) and then we ran over to Wally World, my Son was on the hunt for a fishing pole...we walked around and he found what he was looking for and then I hit the scrapbook section......they had all 24 Cricut lite cartridges ( no, sorry they were out of the cat one)! I was so excited, I took my Daughter's picture in front of all the carts...she was as excited as I was! There were so many to look at, I picked up a few that I was interested in, but I couldn't put down lacy labels, so I bought it! I hate spending full price on anything, so that was a big deal. I felt guilty buying it knowing that we are going on vacation soon! So, long story short....I came home from our outing and my Husband called from work and said to just go ahead and join the CRICUT CIRCLE (a new Cicut MB with exclusive cartridges and many perks)! So I when I first got the invite, I was upset with the price, but if you break it down and realize what you get, it isn't that bad. I didn't think I wanted to join...actually I wasn't, I thought it was ridiculous and over priced, but now that it was reaching the cut off date and it was by invite only, I caved in and joined. I am excited about a new venture and I can't wait to see what it is really all about! I am excited to get my welcome package and the first cartridge French Manor! I feel guilty about spending that kind of money on something like this so I hope that it lives up to my expectations!

I will post some creations with the new lacy labels cartridge over the next couple of days!

  1. Sounds like you had fun at Walmart. I know what you mean about the guilt. I was at JoAnns when I was on vacation and had to have a card making fix. I spent a lot of money. I expressed my guilt of my craft addiction to the cashier. Her response was "I don't think you'll get your kids taken away for this one honey". Wise women. LOL!!

  2. So sorry your daughter did not feel well, but I too love moments laying next to my dd and watching her sleep, and also the talking part...It also sounds like you had fun at Walmart..mine never has anything. I too know what you mean about the guilt. I always feel guilty when I spend money on myself. It must be a mother thing. TFS

  3. Well I hope she is better and I can't wait to see the lacy labels..
Good for you You do use your cricut..Enjoy it.
