I'm back with another card that I made for the "stretch your stamps 2" class!
This one is a masculine birthday card....
I started with the Hero Arts "square pattern" background stamp and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I used broken china, tumbled glass, spiced marmalade and mustard seed distress inks. I went in a diagonal pattern and kind of faded it towards the top corner. Then I cut a strip out at a diagonal and used foam tape to adhere to the front of the card. I used a MFT "celebrate" stamp and stamped it with SSS orange peel ink directly to the card base. I thought it needed an accent so I inked some paper using the blue inks and the SSS star parade die and cut some stars. I adhered them to the front using glossy accents.
A super simple masculine birthday card!
Great color combination on this cheerful card. Nice work.
