Good morning! It is a rainy day here and after having a stomach virus for a few days, I was feeling crafty! I created this fall card...I know I should be making Christmas cards, but I just love the October card kit from Simon Says Stamp so much that I just keep creating with it! So here is another Fall card that I made for the Scrappy Moms Stamp Terrific Tuesday Fall challenge.
SSS 'Giving thanks' stamp set in the kit. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color....I need so much more practice with coloring, I am not happy with them, but I did have fun coloring and that's what counts....right? I cut my own speach bubbles out around the sentiments. I used Heidi Swapp Color Shine mists with a paint brush to paint the leaves (they have a great shimmer) in Chartreuse, Peach and Mustard and then just fussy cut everything out! Oh and I used some May Arts Natural Twine (also from the SSS kit) and I just love it, it is so thin and easy to work with! I also used the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Eight die for the tan background shape.
I think it is a cute Fall card and I had so much fun creating it! Come on by the Scrappy Moms Stamp challenge and join in!
Have a great day!
