Today I created this birthday card!
I started with a stencil from MFT "stencil on the diagonal" and I taped it on a diagonal and used 5 different distress inks...spun sugar, worn lipstick, fired brick, peacock feathers and broken china. I started light on the bottom and got darker up top. I trimmed that down and added thin strips of a teal cardstock. I used a Christmas stamp set from SSS called "Big Holiday Wishes" and I masked off the "holiday" in the stamp and stamped it on the card...then I used Basic Grey letter stickers to spell out "birthday" using a T square ruler for perfect alignment! I added a punched heart with glossy accents and some sequins for fun!
I will be back later or tomorrow with a few more cards! Thanks for stopping by!
Beautiful, Jeannine! I love how you put the stencil at an angle. Great colour choices!
ReplyDeleteThis card is great. The angle of the stencil just makes it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great bold card!
