Harvest Blessings Layout!
So here is a quick layout that I made last night using the Thanskgiving seasonal cartridge that I recently won! I was getting a little frustrated with some of the cuts....I was cutting them at 1 or 2 inches and they were tiny and not cutting nice at all. I have found that it is easier (with this cartrdidge) to cut most of the images larger than 3 inches! Anyway, it is just a simple layout for our Thanksgiving dinner picture! I cut the pilgrim silhoutte at 3 inches, the harvest blessings at 3" and the indian corn at 3 1/2 ". I used some Bazzill cardstock and some of the apple cider paper and ribbon. I used pop dots for the photo, the corn and the pilgrim. How cute is that pumpkin border???? I love it...it is a EK punch that my friend sent me called pumpkin chain. I just love it, it was the perfect accent for this layout! As simple as this layout is, I was happy to be scrapping again! I may go start another quick layout while my daughter is resting!

A SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN!!!!
Here is a "Spooky" Halloween banner that my son and I made! I cut the banner using my cricut and Country Life cartridge and added a drippy goo border to the tops using the MS punch. I added some eyelets to make it sturdy and used ribbons (from the $ bin at target) to tie them together! We made the pleated flowers using the MS scoreboard and some hot glue....my son loved the hot glue gun and was very careful with it! I cut the cauldron, the potion bottle and the skeleton using the cricut October 31st cartridge. We just used some odds and ends spooky things that we had in our Halloween bucket. The acetate cuts are from recolections and were a great touch to our Spooky banner! We love how it turned out and it looks great in our living room!!
Here are my "SPOOKY" children this year at the Halloween parade and trick or treating in town!
This is Christopher's pumpkin that he carved by himself using a template......I think it turned out great....and looks just as spooky as he does in his costume!!
This is Samantha's pumpkin that we did together, we chose a not so scary pumpkin face and I think it looks great!!!
As we were carving the pumpkins this year....I remembered why we didn't do it last year....what a gooey mess! It really is fun though!
Here is an owl that Christopher made at his class halloween party....the cutest owl ever! The parent who chose this craft deserves so much credit...she hand cut all the pieces for this and had to cut enough for 22 kids! I think it is just adorable!!
I hope everyone had a fabulous day full of tricks and treats.....maybe not so much on the tricks, but I for one will be enjoying a treat or two when the kids go to bed.....lol!!!

Gone For So Long!!!
Here we are in the Valley Forge National Park....it was such a beautiful day!
I have a few more pictures to share from a Halloween Party that the kids went to at a local pumpkin patch...My daughter is a witch..who didn't like her eye makeup, but I thought it was cute and my 9 year old son didn't dress up, but wore a skeleton sweatshirt!
I hope to be able to get back into crafting soon and play with those new cartridges! Have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Tiger!!
Here is a simple shaped card, using the pumpkin from CAC, this is for my little 1 year old niece...inside says...lil punkin!!
And...here is my turkey card also for my nieces...now that they live in North Carolina, I send them cards all the time and they just love them!!! This turkey is also from CAC, just a perfect cartridge for making shaped cards with your gypsy!! I love how this turned out, I used polka dots for the hat and divine swirls for the feathers and of course added some googlie eyes! The front says gobble and the inside says gobble! I think my nieces will just love this card for Thanksgiving!!!

American Girl!
The first picture came out terrible...the colors are so off, so I am glad that I didn't enter it...lol!! I love how the heart looks like the heart on the outfits and their were buttons on the outfit too, so I put some buttons in the shape of the heart! I love these pictures of my daughter with her American Girl Kit....and looking at these pictures...I love my daughters toothless smile!!! I am glad that I got to play along and hope to continue playing at sketchabilities.....I love their sketches and it is a great way to get your mojo going!!!

Back to School Smiles, Pictures and Projects!!
Here is my big fourth grader!! His taste is changing and he is gaining his own sense of style...he is not so much into polo shirts anymore, but he wanted to look nice for his first day of school!
The kids are so good to eachother and I know they will take care of eachother and smile when they pass by in the hall!
